While pregnant, eat bland foods such as crackers during the day. Keep bland foods on your stomach will help ease the feeling of nausea. Avoid highly acidic or greasy foods which can roil your stomach and increase the occurrence of nausea and heartburn.

Pregnant ladies are advised to wear sports bras. Sport bras give badly needed additional support to breasts and also cut down on aches and pains associated with carrying a child. Don’t wear tight-fitting underwear. The discomfort isn’t worth the chance of reducing the oxygen supply to your baby.

Avoid plastic containers that have BPA during your pregnancy. BPA acts like estrogen in the body and can have an adverse effect on babies. The BPA can have a feminizing affect on the fetus that you want to avoid. Switch out your plastics for glass and stainless steel to avoid the risk.

Get as much sleep as possible. When the baby arrives, it will be difficult for you to get the rest that you need, so it is important to find the time now to relax and de-stress. Extra sleep will also provide you with the energy that you need to stay active and maintain a baseline level of fitness leading up to your delivery.
